Fall Teachers' Training 2026 — Saturday, September 26, 1–4 PM

You pour out all year. This day is for you first. We eat a real lunch together, then we sit under the Word before anyone asks you for anything. Being fed comes before being equipped — not the other way around.

The aim is simple: show kids Jesus. Everything else serves that.

And we do it as one department. Every ministry sits on the same road — we're handing the same kids off to each other as they grow, from the nursery to high school. No ministry is an island. So the teaching is shared across all of us, and the discussion time is where each ministry asks, "what does this look like for us, and how do we hand these kids off well to the next?" The three pastors teaching and sitting on the panel together model the thing we're after: one department, one aim.

The three sessions

Three lenses on one calling. Each session is a 25-minute lecture, then a breakout by ministry to work out what it means for your kids specifically.

1. Conviction — what we know and believeThe biblical and theological ground under everything we teach. Taught by P. Anthony Kim, our Education Department pastor. (bio)

2. Cost — what following Jesus demandsWhat discipleship actually asks of us, and of the students we're forming. Taught by P. Dan, Lead Pastor of Charis Mission Church. (bio)

3. Character — who we're becomingBeing formed into the likeness of Jesus, in every part of life. Taught by P. SJ (Sungwon Jahng), Telos Youth Ministry Pastor. (bio)

한 해 동안 여러분은 쉼 없이 자신을 쏟아 부으셨습니다. 이 날은 무엇보다 여러분을 위한 날입니다. 함께 든든한 점심을 나누고, 여러분께 무언가를 부탁드리기 전에 먼저 말씀 앞에 함께 앉습니다. 먼저 채움을 받은 후에 세워져 갑니다 — 그 순서는 바뀌지 않습니다.

우리의 목표는 단순합니다: 아이들에게 예수님을 보여주는 것. 그 외의 모든 것은 이 하나를 위해 존재합니다.

그리고 우리는 이 일을 한 몸으로 감당합니다. 모든 부서가 같은 길 위에 있습니다 — 아이들이 자라나는 동안 영아부에서 고등부까지, 우리는 같은 아이들을 서로에게 넘겨주고 있습니다. 어느 부서도 홀로 떨어진 섬이 아닙니다. 그래서 가르침은 모든 부서가 함께 나누고, 나눔의 시간에는 각 부서가 이렇게 묻습니다. "이것이 우리 부서에서는 어떤 모습일까? 그리고 우리는 이 아이들을 다음 부서로 어떻게 잘 넘겨줄 수 있을까?" 세 분의 목사님이 함께 가르치고 패널로 함께 앉는 것 자체가 우리가 지향하는 바를 보여줍니다 — 한 교육부, 하나의 목표.

세 개의 세션

하나의 부르심을 바라보는 세 개의 렌즈. 각 세션은 25분 강의 후, 부서별로 나뉘어 그 내용이 우리 아이들에게 구체적으로 어떤 의미인지 함께 나눕니다.

1. 확신 — 우리가 알고 믿는 것우리가 가르치는 모든 것의 밑바탕이 되는 성경적·신학적 토대. 김앤토니 목사님 (교육부 담당 목사) 인도. (소개)
